Our grassroots efforts are the backbone of the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association. Our members not only guide and help establish our legislative policies and priorities, but they are key in helping implement those policy objectives. Get involved by contacting your elected officials to voice your support for pro-farmer legislation that protects you, your farm, and your way of life.
LEGISLATIVE OUTREACH
The single most important action OCWGA members take is advocating on state and federal issues to protect the rights of Ohio corn and small grain farmers and our agriculture industry.
How can you get involved in our legislative outreach?
- Join the Insider Action Team today.
- Visit with your legislators at one of their local town hall meetings.
- Respond to an OCWGA call to action, ensuring your elected officials hear from you on a critical issue.
- Join us for one of our events, like Ethanol Day at the Statehouse, or at other events where you can visit with policy makers.
- Contribute to the Ohio Corn & Wheat Political Action Committee (PAC) to help support candidates that have proven supportive our policy priorities.
- Write a letter to the editor of your local paper on an issue that is affecting your farm.
