Ohio Corn & Wheat is a strategic alliance that houses three separate and unique organizations: the Ohio Corn Checkoff, the Ohio Small Grains Checkoff and the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association. We work on behalf of Ohio’s corn and small grain farmers to secure a sustainable future.
The Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association is a collective membership organization of nearly 2,000 farmers. The association advocates to protect its members freedom to farm and supports public policy on members’ behalf.
The Ohio Corn Checkoff and the Ohio Small Grains Checkoff are voluntary programs approved by Ohio farmers that collect assessment funds by all first purchasers of Ohio-grown grain. The funds are exclusively used to develop and expand markets, fund research and provide education about corn and small grains.
