Vomitoxin Research Update – Part 2

The Ohio Corn Checkoff has been working with Dr. Pierce Paul and Jason Hartschuh at Ohio State for several years on solving the most significant disease pressure in Ohio: Vomitoxin.

The mycotoxin can be detrimental to an entire crop, can’t be cured, and often isn’t found until it’s too late. But research funded by the Ohio Corn Checkoff is looking for tangible ways that Ohio’s farmers can predict and prevent the blight.
