Ohio Corn & Wheat’s Emerging Leader Summit will encourage and prepare you to start fighting for your farm and tackling the issues that face Ohio’s grain farmers.

This three-day program will develop your skills in leadership, communication, and advocacy. Built for a cohort of 12 people, you’ll be immersed in sessions with experts, discussions with your fellow growers, and networking with others in your industry.

Held in Columbus, Ohio, this program is available at no cost to you. Your program fee, meals, and accommodations are all provided.

• Understanding the functions of membership organizations and commodity checkoff programs
• Building confidence and credibility in networking, business, and professional skills
• Understanding the legislative process at the state and federal level and where you can influence
• Discussing top industry issues and policy priorities for corn and wheat growers
• Learning from and meeting with state legislators
• Touring the Ohio Statehouse and seeing the legislative process in action
• Networking with other corn and wheat growers from around Ohio
