Madalyn Jones to serve as Ohio Corn & Wheat 2026/2027 Intern

DELAWARE, Ohio – Ohio Corn & Wheat (OCW) is proud to announce the selection of Madalyn Jones as its 2026–2027 intern, bringing a young agricultural policy leader with experience in legislative affairs, advocacy and stakeholder engagement.

Jones is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at The Ohio State University, where she is double majoring in Agribusiness and Applied Economics and Public Policy Analysis. She has gained hands-on experience supporting policy research, constituent services, advocacy planning and industry engagement through internships and leadership roles at the state and federal level.

“I’m excited to come back to Ohio Corn & Wheat and be part of the work this organization does for farmers across the state,” Jones said. “My time in the Collegiate Policy Academy showed me how much OCW cares about advocacy, leadership and the future of agriculture, and I’m grateful for the chance to continue learning and contributing as an intern.”

In her role, Jones will assist with recruitment for OCW’s Collegiate Policy Academy and work with departments across the organization to gain broad, hands-on experience in communications, policy, market development, membership and farmer engagement
