A new bill in the U.S. Senate is aimed at lowering fertilizer costs for farmers. The Lowering Input Costs for American Farmers Act would remove a countervailing duty placed in 2021 on phosphate fertilizer coming into the U.S. from Morocco. Learn more now.

Wheat researchers say a common weed related to wheat could provide a new tool in the fight against head scab. By crossing coach grass with wheat, researchers were able to move a disease-resistant trait into new wheat lines. Researchers say the discovery could help wheat breeders develop stronger, more resistant varieties. Discover more.
