The 2026 Yield Contest from the National Corn Growers Association is your chance to compete with farmers facing similar conditions and earn recognition at the state and national level.
Registering is easy and at a discounted rate if you enter before July 1st.
Choose Your Class
NCGA’s online tool helps match your 10-acre plot to the right category based on location, tillage, and irrigation. You can also enter specialty classes.
The Nitrogen Management class focuses on efficiency, limiting nitrogen to 180 pounds per acre. The Short-Season Corn class is open to hybrids with a relative maturity of 99 days or less, offering a strong fit for northern growers.
Get Entered
You will need to be a member of the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association. That membership supports advocacy on your behalf in Columbus and Washington, D.C.
There is a per-entry fee, but many seed companies cover the cost, and sometimes even membership dues. Entering early improves your chances of taking advantage of those programs.
The process is simple. The online tool guides you, applies any available discounts, and confirms your entry by email. And if you get stuck or have a question, you can email NCGA’s Yield Contest team at yieldcontest@ncga.com anytime.
You’re already putting in the work this season; take the extra step and see how it stacks up. Enter early and get it off your list. Discounted entries are available through June 30th. Enter today
