Ohio Corn & Wheat Now Accepting Internship Applications

Ohio Corn & Wheat is now accepting applications for its 2026–2027 internship program, offering college students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in agricultural advocacy, communications, and policy while helping advance the interests of Ohio’s grain farmers.

The internship is ideal for college-aged students passionate about agriculture, policy, communications, or public service. The program provides a front-row seat to how farmer-led organizations work to grow markets, protect farm families, and ensure Ohio agriculture remains competitive for the next generation.

Throughout the internship, the selected student will work closely with Ohio Corn & Wheat staff and farmer leaders on projects that may include:

  • Supporting communications and storytelling efforts that highlight Ohio farmers

  • Helping coordinate educational and leadership programs for students and farmers

  • Contributing to events, industry meetings, and outreach efforts across Ohio

The position offers valuable exposure to the many ways farmer-led organizations work to strengthen agriculture — from policy engagement to market development and member outreach.

Ohio Corn & Wheat has long prioritized leadership development and student engagement as part of its mission to support Ohio agriculture. By providing meaningful opportunities for students to engage with real-world issues facing farmers, the organization helps ensure the next generation is prepared to lead.

Students interested in agriculture, public policy, communications, or agribusiness are encouraged to apply.

Candidates must be available to work in the office regularly, with the potential for occasional remote work depending on workload and team needs from August 2026 to May 2027.

Applications for the 2026–2027 internship are open now and must be submitted by April 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
