John Linder

District 4

John Linder represents Ohio growers in District 4 and he’s also the National Corn Growers Association board president.

Linder, along with his brother, Mike, and wife, Cheryl, run a fifth-generation farm raising corn, soybeans, soft red winter wheat and soybeans for seed in Edison, Ohio (Morrow County). In addition to traditional row crop farming, he also has livestock experience.

Linder is a past chair of the Ohio Corn Marketing Program Board of Directors and past member of the Ag Credit Co-op Board.

Active in agriculture at all levels, Linder is a leader in national level agriculture industry issues. John was elected to a board of directors’ position at the National Corn Growers Association and was recently elected to serve as NCGA’s first vice president. In this role, Linder helps to lead nearly 40,000 dues-paying corn growers and the interests of more than 300,000 farmers who contribute through corn checkoff programs in their states.
