“As farmers represent a smaller and smaller percentage of the population, boards such as NCGA serve a vital function.
NCGA gives farmers a forum to have thoughtful discussion about the issues that impact agriculture. We have the chance to shape the policies that will allow us to continue providing an abundant source of feed, fiber and fuel in a rapidly changing world.”

Platform Priorities

Kelly’s first priority is for NCGA to well represent the federation of states. The association is a strong voice in federal policy as it relates to corn farmers across the country.

She would also like to see the association:

  • Grow membership
  • Increase demand for corn
  • Continue to document, prioritize and publicize sustainability improvements in corn production
