About OCWGA

The Ohio Corn Growers Association and Ohio Wheat Growers Association have united to best represent the public-policy interests of tens of thousands of grain farmers throughout the Buckeye State.

As a single entity, the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association (OCWGA) has positioned itself as both an educational and political powerhouse for the regulation and advancement of domestic and international issues that affect the success of Ohio’s corn and wheat markets.

Beyond Your Checkoff

By law, checkoff funds are devoted to research, market development, education and promotion efforts and are managed by the Ohio Corn Growers Marketing Program and the Ohio Small Grains Marketing Program independent of OCWGA.

As a separate but affiliated entity, OCWGA serves as a delegate for state and federal issues that impact industry profitability. OCWGA’s lobbying efforts are funded solely by membership dues. Each new member increases our manpower and resources to intensify our ability to impact.

Working with our national counterparts, the National Corn Growers Association and the National Association of Wheat Growers, we influence governmental and consumer audiences at a grassroots level to safeguard and advocate for legislation that ensures a climate for corn and wheat success.
